|Description:||POSITION SUMMARY: Position is from 5/6 to 10/14 This position does not require a CDL or special endorsements, a regular driving license and a clean driving record. Transport Staff, property and merchandise to and from Ashford Office and operating units with strict adherence to driving safety and laws. TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT: Company van, radio and property transport in van. NATURE AND SOURCE OF SUPERVISION: Receives working direction from the (JVC) Manager, also from the Ashford Warehouse Manager. |
|Duties:||KEY JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES: • Promotes the spirit and intent of Guest Services Hospitality Standards. • Performs vehicle pre-trip safety inspection and maintains vehicle trip log. • Enforces safety rules for van riders. • Transport employees to work site. • Load product onto and off of van, often unassisted. • Pull, fill out transfer slips and transport orders for PI Snack Bar and Lounge. • Log and transport deposits from PI, JVC and NPI to the vehicle drop safe and keep secure to the Ashford office. • Transport change orders from the Ashford Office to PI, JVC and NPI. • Transport soiled laundry from PI and NPI to Ashford and return clean laundry. • Pick-up recycling from PI, NPI and JVC and recycle in the proper containers at the Ashford Office. • Stock soda machines according to procedures in the JVC Manual. • Transport Company mail bag from PI, JVC and NPI to Ashford Office and return. • Deliver mail and product to NPI, JVC and PI. units as needed • Performs such other related duties as directed or required. |
|Qualifications:||PREREQUISITES: Must have RV or live in local community Education: High School or equivalent. PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS: • One year of similar job experience. PERSONAL QUALITIES AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to speak clearly and listen attentively to guests, supervisors and employees. Must be able to write legibly as well as read and understand directions and instructions. Appearance must be in compliance with company guidelines. Will be required to perform diverse physical tasks. Must be able to stoop, bend, grasp, kneel, handle, reach and squat. Extensive walking and stair climbing. Good physical energy, stamina, and agility. Must withstand exposure to wet floors. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds periodically. Must be able to sit for 2 hour periods of time. Must be service and safety oriented. Must possess a sense of awareness, timelines, urgency, humor, and common sense. Must be able to adapt to the isolation of park life. |
