POSITION SUMMARY: This is a seasonal position from April 05 to Oct. 21. Compiles retail transfers for transmittal to the Corporate Office. Reviews packing slips from warehouse retail and verifies invoices, codes, and submits to supervisor. 

TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT: Personal computer, Windows, Excel, Word, multi-line telephones, FAX machine, ten-key calculator, check protector, postage meter and all office supplies.

 NATURE AND SOURCE OF SUPERVISION: Receives working direction from Accounting Supervisor.

Duties:

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: • Promotes the spirit and intent of Guest Services Hospitality Standards. • Communicates with Retail Managers at Paradise and/or other unit supervisors as necessary with regard to any incongruities in the individual reports. • Researches retail vender statements. • Process condemned product and updates report spreadsheet to transmit to corporate office. • Retrieves and organizes all retail invoices and transfers, and any related paperwork that is specifically requested by Corporate. • Process month end inventory reports. • Performs such other related duties as directed or required.

Qualifications:

PREREQUISITES: Education: High school graduate also training or education in accounting functions. Attention to details and data entry input skills.

PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Three years in accounting.

PERSONAL QUALITIES AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to speak clearly and listen attentively. Must be able to write legibly as well as read and understand directions and instructions. Appearance must be in compliance with company guidelines. Will be required to perform diverse physical tasks. Must be able to stoop, bend, grasp, and perform repetitive motions. Must be able to be in a sitting position for 2 hour stretches. Must be able to lift 20 pounds periodically. Must be service and safety oriented. Must possess a sense of awareness, timelines, urgency, humor, and common sense. Must be able to adapt to the isolation of national park life.
